Monday was a rather relaxing day, the shooting went rather well having shot the Corporation at 1000, and 2 others at 500 and 600. I came off the line in the Corp with a 47 and found out after the fact that the nickname for the Corporation is the Corpse, as it can kill your shoot if you get eaten up in the wind. This score combined with the other long range scores were good enough to allow me to qualify for the finals of the Donaldson.<\/p>\n
Tuesday AM was the firing of the first stage of the St Georges. This was fired at 300Y, and only the top 300 move on to the second stage. I made it in at position 229.
\nIn the afternoon we shot the Jr McKinnin team match at 900 and 1000, this effort proved to be victorious, and will allow us to go up on stage at the prize giving.
\nFor those that don’t know I am traveling with the PPRT ( Prairie Province Rifle Team).<\/p>\n
The family arrives tomorrow, so the fun factor should increase.<\/p>\n
